BROADY THROUGH TO 3RD ROUND !

Naomi won through to the last 16 at the Glasgow $10k with a 6-3,6-2 victory over Pavla Smidova of the Czech Republic. Broady will now plays the No3 seed Emma Laine of Finland ranked 397. Laine has been as high as No50 in the world (august 06) and won her 2nd round match against Natalie Piquion of France. Naomi also went through to the 3rd round of the doubles partnering GBs Jade Curtis. The pair played some solid tennis to record a 6-1,6-0 win over Scotland's Katie Gater and Kirstie Mcrae.
