Naomi lost 4-6,5-7 against Giulia Gatto Monticone of Italy in a hard fought match which lasted just over 2 hours. Naomi played well but the Italian had the edge in todays encounter. Broady next travels to Estonia for the $25k in Tallinn in 10 days time.

Naomi lost 2-6,3-6 today in the quarter final of the Wrexham $25k against an inspired Heather Watson of Great Britain. Broady now travels to Spain on Sunday for the $25k in Vigo,Spain.

Naomi won yesterday against Sam Vickers 6-2,6-4 and also today 6-3,3-6,6-4 in a hard fought match against Emelyn Starr of Australia to set up a quarter final encounter with Great Britains Heather Watson.

Naomi travelled to the Mouratoglou Academy in France this week to start a two week intensive strength and fitness block. Her next two tournaments will be the $25k in Wrexham followed by the $25k in Vigo,Spain.

Naomi lost 4-6,4-6 to Nicola Hofmanova of Austria at the Wimbledon Qualifying event. She will now go on play doubles next week with Katie Obrien.

Broady bowed out of the qualies in Eastbourne with a scoreline of 6-3,3-6,0-6 against the world number 88 Jarmila Groth of Australia. Naomi will play Wimbledon qualies starting Tuesday.

Naomi went out of the Birmingham $220k event with a 4-6,4-6 loss to Shenay Perry of USA ranked 129 in the world. Naomi had chances in both sets but the experience of Perry who has been ranked as high as WTA40 saw her fight through to win.

Naomi and Katie Obrien finished runners up in the doubles final at the Nottingham $50k losing in a third set tie breaker to the No2 seeds Sarah Borwell and Raquel Kops-Jones ranked 67 and 56 in the world .

Naomi lost her 2nd round match at the Nottingham $50k against Anne Keothavong 2-6,2-6. In the doubles Naomi is partnering Katie Obrien and the pair won through to the doubles final with a win over Arina Rodionova and Olga Savchuk.

Naomi won through to the 2nd round of the Nottingham $50k with a 3 set win over Arina Rodionova of Russia.  The scoreline was 7-6(4) 3-6 6-3 in a match lasting just over two and a half hours. Next up for Naomi is the winner of the match between the No7 seed Anne Keothavong (GB) and Valeria Savinykh of (RUS) which will be played tommorow. Naomi then teamed up with Katie Obrien in the doubles to win a closely fought match with Jade Windley and Anna Fitzpatrick taking it in the third set tie break 1-6 6-4 [10-7] .

Naomi finished her Japanese tour bowing out of the $25k at Karuizawa,Japan to the home player Shuko Aoyama with a scoreline of 3-6,3-6. She will now travel home on Thursday for a few days rest before starting preparations for the summer grasscourt tournaments.

Naomi went out of the $50k at Kurume,Japan today to the talented Krystina Pliskova of the Czech Republic with a scoreline of 4-6,4-6. Naomi will now travel to the final leg of the Japanese tour which is the $25k at Karuizawa.

Naomi lost 6-7,0-6 in the 2nd round of the $50k at Fukuoka in Japan to Ellen Barry of New Zealand. She will now travel to the $50k at Kurume.

Naomi won a marathon match in the 1st round of the $50k at Fukuoka in Japan against home player Tomoko Yonemura ranked WTA 195 ! She came through in just over 3 hours with a scoreline of 1-6,7-5,7-6. Naomi now plays Ellen Barry from New Zealand for a place in the quarter final.

Naomi went out 7-6,3-6,4-6 against the No1 seed and home player Yurika Sema of Japan who is ranked WTA157. Naomi then teamed up with GBs Jade Curtis to win the first round of the doubles.

Naomi moved up just one place this week to a new career high of WTA267 ! She is currently stranded in Kenya due to the Volcanic disruption of European airspace but will hopefully make it to the first $50k tournament in Japan next week.

Naomi lost a gutsy encounter with Mariya Koryttseva of Ukraine (WTA106) with a final scoreline of 3-6,7-6,6-7. Koryttseva has been as high as 50 in the world and proved to have the edge on this occasion. Naomi's next tournament will be the $50k in Gifu,Japan in two weeks.

Naomi qualified for the main draw of the $100k in Johannesburg with a 6-1,6-2 win over Justyna Jegiolka of Poland. Conditions were much better today allowing the girls to play there game. Naomi teams up with Jade Curtis in the first round of doubles later today.

Naomi won her match in windy conditions today against Courtney Nagle of USA with a scoreline of 4-6,7-5,6-4. She now moves on to play Justyna Jegiola of Poland for a place in the main draw.

On the eve of travelling to South Afrika for the $100k ITF event in Johannesburg,Naomi's ranking climbed to a new career high of WTA268 today and her British ranking also climbed to a new highest spot of GB No 6 !
