Naomi continues her claycourt preperation and loses in the 1st round of the main draw at $50k at Saint Gaudens after winning through the qualifying rounds. She went out in a 3 set encounter to the world number 134 with a scoreline of 6-3,1-6,4-6. Naomi plays doubles this week with Julia Glushko and will train next week at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.

Naomi won her 1st round qualies match against Marie Temin of France 6-4,6-1 but then narrowly lost to Karolina Pliskova (CZK) 3-6,7-5,6-7(4). Naomi will now train with the Mouratoglou Acadamy in France in preparation for the $50k at Saint-Gaudens.

Naomi lost her quarter final match against Veronika Kapshay (UKR) 6-3,3-6,4-6. She will play the doubles final later tomorrow.

Naomi won her first round match in Uzbekistan earlier today against Daria Gavrilova of Russia coming through with a scoreline of 6-4,6-4. In the 2nd round Naomi plays Kateryna Kozlovo (UKR)

Naomi lost her qualiying match at the Clearwater $25k against a resurgent Alize Lim of France with a scoreline of 4-6,4-6 ! Lim played a very good match after yesterday dispatching Ashley Weinhold of USA. Naomi will now team up with Heather Watson for the doubles event.

Naomi won through to the 2nd round of qualies with a 7-5,6-2 victory over Nastja Kolar of Slovenia in what has to be one of the strongest fields seen in a $25k. The top seed in the qualifying section is Camilla Giorgi at WTA151 who arrived late yesterday from Fort Walton Beach where she was seeded 2 in the Main Draw ! Naomi will now play the winner of the match between Ashley Wienhold and Alize Lim.

Naomi lost her opening match to Eugenie Bouchard of Canada after a promising opening set. Bouchard however, turned the match around to take it 2-6,6-4,6-1. Naomi will play doubles then travel to Clearwater for the $25k.

Naomi lost 2-6,1-6 to Camila Giorgi of Italy in the Memphis International WTA event and is waiting to see if she made the doubles cut with Madison Brengle. She will then play the 25k event in Fort Walton Beach followed by either Clearwater or Nassau.

Naomi lost her 2nd round match at the WTA event in Paris today with a scoreline of 3-6,6-3,1-6 against Bethany Mattek-Sands of the USA.

Naomi won her 1st round qualifying match 6-1,6-2 against Audrey Bergot of France. Broady will now play Bethany Mattek-Sands in the 2nd round.

Naomi won todays 2nd round match in fine style with a scoreline of 6-2,6-0 against the in form Paula Kania of Poland. Broady will now face Kristyna Pliskova (CZE) in the quarter final !

Naomi won her 1st round match at the Grenoble $25k with a 6-3,2-6,6-3 win over Dejana Raickovic of Germany ! Broady takes on Paula Kania of Poland in the 2nd round.

Naomi climbed the rankings to a new career high of WTA184 today courtesy of the 1st round qualies win at the Australian Open in Melbourne 2 weeks ago. Broady is in France this week playing the Grenoble $25k !

Naomi won her 1st round match against Olga Savchuk (UKR) with a scoreline of 6-0,2-6,6-2 . She will now play the winner of Karin Knapp and Annalisa Bona both players coming from Italy !

Naomi went out of this years Australian Open in 3 sets to the world No137 Alison Riske of the USA. The final score was 6-3,2-6,0-6 with Naomi struggling to find her form. She will now fly home and then play some tournaments in France before possibly heading to the USA.

After 7 weeks without a match due to her off season training block and then being unlucky in Auckland and Hobart Naomi finally got to compete and won her 1st round qualifying match in Melbourne in 3 sets against Ahsley Weinhold of USA ! Both players were understandably nervous due to the enormity of the occasion but it was Naomi who came through with a scoreline of 6-4,5-7,6-3. She will now play Alison Riske of the USA.

Naomi has spent 2 weeks in France training with the Mouratoglou Tennis Acadamy and is now with them in Mauritius working hard for her first tournament of 2012 which will be the WTA in Auckland,New Zealand. She will then travel to Hobart in Tasmania followed by the Australian Open in Melbourne ! Naomi would like to send her best wishes to everyone for a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year !

Broady finished her season with a smile as the new rankings were anounced this morning. She is now placed WTA194 on the Sony Ericsson list which is her highest ever position. Hopefully this will be a springboard into 2012 and Naomi can continue her improvements and climb further towards her goal !

Naomi and doubles partner Kristina Mladenovic won their 2nd successive doubles tournament in as many weeks by winning the Bratislava $25k title against Karolina and Kristyna Pliskova from The Chech Republic. The final scoreline was 5-7,6-4(10-2). This brings to an end a great season for Naomi which see's her climb into the top 200 singles rankings for the first time and now enables her to play the Grand Slam tournaments as well as many other WTA events. Naomi will now have a short break before starting her off season training block in France at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.

Naomi lost in 3 tight sets in a brilliant match against Hungary's Timea Babos with the score finishing 5-7,7-6,6-7 ! Both players gave everything and both could have won the match with Naomi saving 2 match points in the final game of the 3rd set, then having her own match point in the Tie Break only for Babos to come up with a quality backhand topspin lob on the run to level ! Babos held her resolve to force the next two points with assertive play to take the match ! Naomi teams up with Kristina Mladenovic for the 2nd round of the doubles later.
