Naomi lost 6-4,6-2 to Shuai Zhang of China who is currently ranked WTA146. Naomi battled hard but Zhang who has recently recorded some impressive wins including against Danira Safina,eventually proved to have the extra experience.

Naomi qualified for the main draw at the Clearwater $25k in Florida with a 6-3,6-3 win over Kimberly Couts of USA. It was the 2nd time the pair had played each other in as many weeks with Naomi winning in 3 sets last week.

Naomi won her 1st round qualifying match at the $25k in Clearwater,USA. The scoreline was 6-4,6-2 against Teodora Mircic of Serbia.

Naomi lost 6-1,6-4 in the quarter final of the $25k at Hammond,Louisiana to Jamie Hamton of the USA. Naomi and Heather Watson also bowed out of the doubles at the semi final stage. Next up is the last event of her USA tour which is the $25k in Clearwater Florida.

Naomi moved into the quarter finals of the $25k at The Oak Knoll Country Club,Hammond,Louisiana by beating Kimberly Couts of the USA. It was another long match which ended 6-3,2-6,6-4 in Naomi's favour! In the next round Naomi will face Jamie Hampton of USA.

Naomi won through to the 2nd round of the $25k at Hammond,Louisiana with a 6-1,6-3 victory over Mathilde Johansson of France. Johansson is currently ranked WTA209 although she has been as high as 45 in the world! Naomi will now play Kimberly Couts (USA) for a place in the 3rd round. Naomi and Heather Watson play their 1st round doubles match later today.

Naomi qualified for the main draw  of the $25k tournament at Hammond,Louisiana with a 6-3,6-4 win over Japans Chihiro Takayama. She had no reaction to yesterdays injury scare and will rest from singles tomorrow with just the doubles to play,this week teaming up with Heather Watson.

Naomi dug deep in the 1st round of the Qualifiers at Hammond,Louisiana against an inspired Shelby Rogers of USA. The match went to 3 hours 30 minutes partly due to an injury scare timeout for Naomi. The eventual score was 7-6,6-7,6-4 !

A freak snow storm at Midland Airport in Michegan,USA meant that Naomi and Roxanne Sammel's flight was cancelled and consequently they could not make the sign-in for the qualifying event at Surprise in Phoenix Arizona. The Airline would only put them on a flight 30 hours later and the tournament could make no exeption to the rules which stated they had to be at the facility in person to sign in. This was made even more frustrating when it turned out that Naomi was only 1 place out of the Main draw. Naomi will now train in the USA before the $25k events at Hammond and Clearwater.

Naomi lost 6-7(4),6-4,4-6 to Severine Beltrame of France at the Dow Corning Classic at Midland,USA where other Brits Heather Watson,Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong and Katie Obrien are also in action. The WTA195 ranked player from France has been as high as 48 in the world and her experience was the difference in this match. Naomi now travels to Arizona for the $25k at Surprise,Phoenix.

Naomi won through to the main draw of the Dow Corning Classic at Midland,USA where she is accompanied by fitness trainer Roxanne Sammel, with a 6-4,6-3 win over Yana Koroleva of Russia. In the 1st round of the MD Naomi will face Severine Beltrame of France.

Naomi progressed to the final qualifying round of the $100K Dow Corning Classic in Midland,USA with a 6-1,3-1(ret) result over April Bisharat of USA. Naomi will play the winner of Yana Koroleva and Tamaryn Hendler to qualify.

Naomi's ranking climbed again this week to a new career high of WTA282 on the back of her points from the $25k tournament in China. She has finished her preperation at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France and will fly to USA on Wednesday to start a 5 week tour beginning with the $100k at Midland,Michigan where she will be accompanied by fitness trainer Roxanne Sammel.

Naomi is nearing the end of preparations for her 2010 tour of USA. Naomi has started her training block at the Mouratoglou Academy in Paris where she will prepare for her next tournament which will be in the USA. Her schedule will start with the Midland $100k qualifiers then onto the $25k at Surprize.

Naomi went out of the $25k in Pingguo,China to Nigina Abduraimova (UZB) with a scoreline of 7-6(5) 1-6 6-4. Once again Dave Sammel who has accompanied Naomi for the last five tournaments said she fought well but her opponent was "up to the task".She will return to the UK tomorrow to rest and prepare for her training block at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.

Naomi won her 1st round match in Pingguo,China 6-3,4-6,6-2 against Kumiko Iijima of Japan.The 27 yr old world ranked 699 player had previously been inside the top 200 and pushed Naomi all the way. Broady had to battle against an inspired opponent with Dave Sammel saying "mentally the best match Naomi has played - this was tough" In the 2nd round Naomi will play Nigina Abduraimova (UZB).

Naomi's ranking climbed to WTA290 this week courtesy of her 1st round win at Quanzhou,China last week and remains at No7 in the GB rankings. She will start the $25k at Pinnguo on Wednesday.

Naomi went out in the 2nd round of the $50k in Quanzhou,China against an inspired Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia with a scoreline 7-5,6-0. Naomi broke back to level at 5-5 in the 1st set but Krunic upped her game and never looked back. Naomi will train in Quanzou for the next two days where she is accompanied by MCTA coach Dave Sammel then both will travel to Pingguo for the $25k which starts next week.

Naomi won through to the 2nd round at the $50K in Quanzhou,China in real tussle with the No4 seed USA's Julia Cohen ranked WTA208. The eventual score was 3-6,6-3,6-4. In 2nd round Naomi will meet the winner of Chin-Wei Chan (TPE) and Aleksandra Krunic (SRB).
