Naomi Broady

Naomi ligament damage !
Sat 29th Aug 09 - 22:45

Naomi underwent scans again this week at a hospital near Paris which showed a tear at the top of the hamstring just beneath the upper attachment point. The injury occurred two years ago at Roehampton, it was misdiagnosed by the LTA where Naomi was cleared to play. A year ago and many physio sessions later she funded her first MRI scan at Bolton Tennis centre which we were told was clear with no evident injury. We have now been informed by a French doctor that this first scan was out of focus and impossible to read. Broady has now been through two years of unbelievable frustration and pain ! She will see a leading French doctor on the 2nd of September to decide on the course of action that will enable her to start her rehab schedule.
